Liquid mixing

FAQs

Q Since the ISO-MIX rotary jet head (RJH) must be positioned under the liquid surface and, consequently – in vertical tanks – lower than a RJH installed for the purpose of cleaning of the tank, will the ISO-MIX mixer be able to clean the tank from the higher position?

A The short answer is – yes!

The ISO-MIX RJH normally has a similar or higher volumetric flow rate as a RJH installed just for cleaning. This means that the wetting intensity of the interior of the tank will be the same or higher when using the ISO-MIX RJH for the cleaning process.

When installing an ISO-MIX RJH, the tank design can be made simpler as baffles and shaft supports are avoided. This means fewer areas that are difficult to clean. Furthermore, due to the lower position of the mixer, the impact angles are often better with an ISO-MIX RJH, which also means more efficient cleaning.

In short, an ISO-MIX system will increase the quality of the cleaning compared to traditional systems.
