Cleaning in place (CIP) systems give fast and efficient cleaning. The CIP systems use either a fixed spray ball (FSB) or a much more efficient rotary jet head (RJH) to apply the cleaning liquid to the inside surface of the tank. When replacing an FSB with an RJH the savings in liquid, chemicals and energy typically result in a pay back time of 6 to 12 months.
