Controlling/minimizing the oxygen content in liquid food (water, milk, juice, edible oil, etc.) is of great importance as the taste stability and shelf life of the products increase with reduced oxygen content.
ISO-MIX offers a simple solution for deaeration of liquid food, down to 5 ppb, which can be established at a fraction of the price of traditional de-aeration plants.
The complete system is made up of a Rotary Jet Head which is fed via a recirculation loop that takes the tank contents from the bottom of the tank trough a boost pump and back into the Rotary Jet Head. Stripping gas (CO2 or N2) is added into the recirculation loop (pressure side of the pump), which results in oxygen being extracted from the liquid in the tank.
The system can be installed in new or existing tanks, and as an added value the ISO-MIX system can be used for tank cleaning - cleaning in place (CIP) unit, when the tank is empty.
