Dairy industry – Cocoa milk production

Powder mixing in liquids often represent a challenge in the production process. Some types of powder are difficult to dissolve, thus limiting the production capacity or creating ”fish eyes” on the liquid surface.

These problems can be solved by establishing a recirculation loop, including a powder dispersion unit, in combination with an ISO-MIX system for efficient distribution of the slurry in the tank.

Such systems are used, for instance, for the production of cocoa milk.

Advantages are:
• Dust-free handling of powder
• Increased capacity
• No more partially wetted crust at the wall of the vessel and/or the mixing shaft
